Abstract

The integrity management system for gas pipelines greatly affects the process of designing, constructing, operating and maintaining gas pipelines. The integrity management process for gas pipelines is an integrated process of risk management, design, operation, inspection and evaluation throughout the life of the gas pipelines.

Based on the results of surveys conducted at the units managing /operating gas pipelines in Vietnam, the Petrovietnam Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR) has established the Guidelines on Asset Integrity Management for Onshore and Offshore Gas Pipelines, ensuring international and Vietnamese safety standards/regulations.
